BREMER Law Firm has advised Baker Hughes Company as Saudi antitrust counsel through and in close cooperation with lead counsel WilmerHale on the acquisition of 100 percent of the equity interests in Brush HoldCo I Limited (Target) through a series of restructuring measures from Brush Jersey Holdco II Limited (Seller) for approximately GBP 300 million. Globally, Target primarily manufactures, sells, and services turbogenerators used for the generation of electricity. BREMER Law Firm assisted Baker Hughes Company in procuring clearance for the transaction from the General Authority for Competition (GAC), the Saudi Arabian merger control authority. The BREMER team was led by Dr. Nicolas Bremer, head of M&A and Merger Control at BREMER Law Firm. Dr. Bremer was assisted by Mariem Saad, and Maryam Abdelgwad.
